Glass changed to Art by Fire.
Hot glass artist Ron Murphy

Lamp working and glass blowing methods are what Ron uses to captured in glass sculptures the beauty and simplicity of life and art. Colorado artist and a student of nature and with deep interests in western wild life and sea life inspires much of what Ron does with hot glass. Ron's love for art is expressed in his love for glass and the untold ways that it can be used to capture the beauty and forms of our natural world. At times Ron ventures into areas of contemporary and modern forms of art. You may see this in some of his sculptures. While Ron has been doing glass for more than 40 years he still feels that he has only scratched the surface when it comes to changing glass into art. Ron is currently using various forms of Sea Turtles & Sea Life and including them in his sculptures, paper-weights and Goblets. Ron teaches beginner to advanced glassblowing lessons in his studio watch for information on his glassblowing lesson page.
